Visual inspection services (VT)

A visual inspection or visual examination of objects, parts or components is the oldest and reliable non-destructive testing method.

Visual inspection is particularly effective detecting macroscopic flaws, such as poor welds. Many welding flaws are macroscopic: crater cracking, undercutting, slag inclusion, incomplete penetration welds
